Blogging about St Albans and Hertfordshire

I've been a St Albans native ever since I came into the world at St Albans Hospital thirty or so years ago, bringing joy to my family and everyone who has met me since. I assume. This city is my home, even though I also agree that it really seems too small to be called a city. But, cathedral. What are you going to do?

Whether you're a local too, or just visiting, I have all sorts of posts for you to read - check them all out here. I love writing about the area. I'm genuinely proud to live in such a beautiful city, and it's getting better all the time with heaps of independent eateries and some excellent events and things to do. But if you're simply here and you're hungry, then my list of the 15 best places to eat in St Albans was pretty popular.

If you're a St Albans based business, get in touch. I've been invited to review some local restaurants like Craft & Cleaver, The Vine Leaves, The Wicked Lady and Tabure and I'd love to see what you've got to offer.

I take all of my own photographs too, so if you just need a hand with some decent imagery for your website or social media, or even some marketing advice (that's my day job) then get in touch at essbeevee@gmail.com (my rates are super reasonable).
