Maybe I should call her up, and invite her around.

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to a fashiony event. Now, I know, events seem to be a dime a dozen these days (not that I'm blasé about it - I LOVE invites!), but this one was especially exciting as it was at THE IVY. I had visions of schmoozing with celebrities! Eating caviar! Drinking champagne! So, obviously, attending was essential.

The event was to celebrate Ben de Lisi's first 'birthday' as a Designer at Debenhams. I was hideously late due to getting to the station and realising I'd forgotten my wallet, but when I finally arrived I did get dessert! And champagne! And I got to ogle pretty clothes, too. No celebrities, sadly, but the doormen wore HATS.

I then tottered on my slightly-too-high-heels around the corner to meet Amy and Carina at the Time2 event. More champagne, more cake, and this time, lots of lovely watches! I have been looking for a new watch forever - you may have noticed that my trusty 7-year-old Storm is present in absolutely every photo of me - so it was great to have a chance to eye some up. I haven't quite found THE watch yet, but I've definitely got some ideas. And I came away with an adorable hot pink Casio - awesome!

Thanks to both the teams at Debenhams and Time2 for a fabulous evening. And especially to Amy for helping me put a bottle of wine away afterwards. Love that lady.
