Come closer and see, see into the trees.

It is not quite my birthday yet, I'm afraid, but nearly. And I officially denote this my Birthday Friday Frock, despite the fact that I am not wearing it on my birthday. Boohoo, the sponsors of today's giveaway, offered to send me my birthday frock in fact, and after resisting the urge to make unfunny birthday suit jokes (dude, I don't want to be naked, gimme the pretty dress!) I chose this one. It's so pretty, and actually feels rather special. You know when you're like I HAVE A NEW DRESS ON EVERYONE LOOK AT ME? That is how I felt. It's all floaty and ladylike, and when I came downstairs in it last weekend whilst visiting my friend Ali, we decided we had to go somewhere pretty to photograph it.

I go to Derbyshire quite a lot, and I'm always like 'YOU GUYS IT IS SO PRETTY' but none of my photos ever seem to do it justice. Until now. We went hunting for somewhere especially pretty and found this gorgeous location which had loads of extra pretty BITS like cool bridges and little wooded glens and lakes and waterfalls for me to stand awkwardly and look at my feet.
