I was so into all the boater hats that were all over the place last summer, and even bought one in H&M, but it was huge and ridiculous, so I returned it. But I felt sad, because I wanted one, and then I went to Glastonbury, and they were everywhere, and I was sad. So sad. I get unnecessarily attached to hats.
This year, though, boaters seem a little passé. So when I spotted this gorgeous little number in River Island, my eyes lit up. I LOVE cloche hats - I have a lovely red one that I picked up in the winter sales (which I haven't actually worn yet, but it looks so jaunty hanging off the end of my bedpost that I don't care!) - but I never thought about a straw one before. And now I need it. Now.
Um. Please?

ReplyDeleteI love cloche hats. I wish I had a smaller head so I can wear girl hats. I have a 23" head. its a MELON!
ReplyDeleteI had to wear an amazing green velvet cloche hat in a production of Bugsy Malone but because my head is so HUGE we had to cut it up the back and I just had to be careful not to turn around. Sad times.
ReplyDeleteOh its gorgeous, I have a black cloche that was perfect for winter. Much better than a wooly hat!
