I'll be blue, I'll be blue.

There's a little, secluded wood just outside St Albans that - for just two weeks out of the year - is completely covered in a blanket of vibrant bluebells. I couldn't resist popping down there on Sunday with my camera to take in the sights. Simply stunning.

The whole time I was there though, I kept thinking how amazing a blogger photoshoot would be down here. Picnic on Saturday, anyone?

    these pictures are so beautiful, sarah! i adore bluebells, they are such pretty flowers. i'd totally pop down if i was free, i've always wanted to have a photoshoot in a field of flowers, hehe. xx

    That looks really nice and it's a good reminder of home! I'm very much missing UK green. The parks in Cadiz just don't compete. Enjoy it for me. Kirsten

    bluebell woods are easily one of the most magical things from my memories. i still can't see one without feeling utterly enchanted.

    Gorgeous! The simple blue and green is stunning, but I also like it when you see fields like that with the pink and white versions (pinkbells and whitebells?!) all mixed in as well. So pretty!

    The woods are so pretty! The picture of you in the wood makes me laugh because you look a bit superimposed. I am now a little suspicious *side glare*

    We saw loads of bluebells in the forest near us yest on our dog walk. SO pretty and such a lovely smell from them!

    These photos are absolutely gorgeous!
    Looks like the perfect place for a photo shoot - I'm imagining lots of floaty white fabric and china teacups haha!
