So that didn't happen.
Instead, I took the opportunity to take my first outfit post in new surroundings. Yep, I've moved! Nowhere exciting - back in with my parents for a couple of months actually, for various reasons - but they do live in an incredibly pretty place, which is like crack to a fashion blogger, right?
Dress, Leggings & Wedges - Primark
Necklace - Customised Topshop
I wore this dress on Wednesday - first day back at work after my Glasto adventure - so I wanted something comfortable and easy to throw on. Preferably that didn't require getting up early to iron it. I don't like ironing. I feel like I've mentioned this a lot. Literally, all my favourite dresses are the ones that don't need ironing. I actually forget about the dresses that do, because I wear them once, then wash them, then am like 'Oh, it needs ironing, screw that!' And put them in the back of my wardrobe for a couple of months until I'm like 'WHY DO I NEVER WEAR THIS?'
Anyway, this dress was just £10 from Primark the other day, and I love the print. I think it's a little shapeless, but the print is so pretty I don't care too much. And it's nice and easy to throw on of a morning, which is sometimes all you want from a dress, really.
I love your style, and your figure! In fact I love your blog in general :)
ReplyDeleteI need to wear some of my more girly dresses now it's warmer!
xXx
It's a lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, the view is amazing. Just had a peek at your other post, it looks like such a beautiful place! xx
Sirens and Bells
Love the dress but love the wedges more.

Your parent's place/your new place is so beautiful! I'm in awe of the awesomeness. The dress isn't shapeless at all! I can completely relate to the ironing thing: I go shopping, and if it requires serious ironing I assume that I'm going to wear it 5 times, max. I'm far too lazy/hate ironing far too much to own a lot of clothes that require frequent ironing.
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed of my laziness....

I hate ironing. There is stuff in the pile that has been in there for months. Literally months. On the bright side, it does mean I discover stuff that I'd entirely forgotten I owned, which is always nice.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is lovely, and your parents' house looks gorgeous - perfect for outdoor outfit photos!
ReplyDeleteIroning is pretty much the worst thing ever. I tihnk I may actually prefer hoovering to ironing, although it probably comes slightly above taking out the bins!
The dress looks fab on you :)
ReplyDeleteI must start wearing mine now the weather is getting better (hoorah!) :)
